What Age Should Kids Start Disc Golf?
Disc golf is enjoyable for all ages. There is no set age for when one should start playing disc golf. I would say as a basic rule of thumb around 5 to 7 is a great time for a child to start. The PDGA has divisions for players under 8 all the way to 80 years old. The sooner you can get your child involved in disc golf the more comfortable they will become playing the game. It will always take some time for a child to develop the skills needed to play at an efficient level, but as the old saying goes the sooner the better.
